Coach Pruitt was announced as an assistant on Aug. 1, 2024.
She comes to Corvallis after a highly successful playing career that included four years in the NWSL. The fifth overall pick in the 2019 NWSL draft, she scored twice and added an assist across 11 total appearances for the North Carolina Courage, who went on to win the NWSL Championship and NWSL Shield at the end of her rookie season.
She went on to make 15 appearances for OL Reign and 17 for the Orlando Pride, finishing her professional career with five goals and three assists across 50 appearances.
The 2015 Mountain West Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-Mountain West selection at San Diego State, Pruitt went on to play three seasons at Southern California, earning Second Team All Pac-12 honors as a junior before a 12 goal, nine assist senior season put her on the First Team; the Trojans made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament that year.
Across four seasons, her she finished her collegiate career with 32 goals and 30 assists in 81 total appearances.
