Kirk Barron

Offensive Line Coach

Kirk Barron is in his first season at Oregon State in 2026 as offensive line coach, arriving in Corvallis after coaching stops at Alabama, West Virginia and Oregon and a track record of developing NFL offensive linemen.

Barron came to Oregon State after serving as assistant offensive line coach and offensive analyst at Alabama. He previously worked as a graduate assistant with the offensive line at West Virginia and Oregon.

Coaching Highlights
• Part of coaching staffs that reached two College Football Playoff appearances, won an SEC Championship and made a trip to the Pac-12 Championship Game
• Helped develop NFL offensive linemen Alex Forsyth, TJ Bass, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Steven Jones, Zach Frazier, Wyatt Milum, Darrian Dalcourt, JC Latham and Tyler Booker

Playing Career
• Played offensive line at Purdue from 2014-17, starting 25 consecutive games at center
• Named team captain in both 2016 and 2017
• Helped the Boilermakers to a 7-6 record in 2017, including a win over Arizona in the Foster Farms Bowl
• Had brief stints with the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL
• Played for the Seattle Dragons in the XFL
