Jeff Eaton

Jeff Eaton is in his first season at Oregon State in 2026 as director of football strength and conditioning. He arrived in Corvallis after spending the previous season at Virginia Tech as associate director of strength and conditioning.
Before Virginia Tech, Eaton spent three seasons at Miami (2022-24) as assistant strength and conditioning coordinator and internship coordinator for football. He also worked three years at Oregon (2019-21), where he helped guide the football team to three straight appearances in the Pac-12 Championship Game, two conference titles and a win in the 2020 Rose Bowl.
Eaton spent three years at Purdue (2017-19), helping the Boilermakers to back-to-back bowl games, including a win in the 2017 Foster Farms Bowl, and two seasons at UNLV (2015-16) as assistant director of football strength and conditioning. He also worked in the strength and conditioning programs at Morgan State (2014), Baylor (2011), San Diego State (2009-10) and Penn State (2005-06).
Eaton holds a certification through the CSCCa (Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association) and is a certified Level I Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. His other certifications include FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning Movement Specialist), Altis Level 1 Speed Coach and QPR (Suicide Prevention).
Playing Career
Eaton played defensive line at Lock Haven University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 2009.
Personal
Eaton and his wife, Beth, have a daughter, Eva, and a son, Titus.
