Heather Elkinton began her Oregon State University athletics career in 2008.
Elkinton came to Corvallis after working for two years as an assistant athletic trainer at Montana State University, where she worked with the women's basketball, volleyball and ski teams.
A graduate of Oregon State University, Elkinton received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training in 2004. She worked as a student athletic trainer while in school and became certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association in 2004.
Elkinton attended graduate school at the University of Oregon where she earned a Master's degree in Sports Medicine in 2006. As a graduate assistant trainer at the University of Oregon, Heather served as the athletic trainer for volleyball and football.
A native of Sweet Home, Oregon, Elkinton is married to Zeb Elkinton and the couple resides in Corvallis with their two children, Maddux & Roarie.
