Micah Cloward

Micah Cloward joined the Oregon State Athletics team in March of 2015 and currently is the assistant sports performance coordinator with the football strength, conditioning, and sports science being among his primary responsibilities.
Cloward came to Oregon State after spending two years at the University of Wisconsin as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. His responsibilities for the Badgers included working with the football, volleyball, and track and field programs – all of which were among the nation’s elite teams. The football team went to two bowl games, the track and field/cross country team won three Big Ten Conference titles and volleyball finished No. 2 in the nation in 2013, and won the league title in 2014.
Prior to Wisconsin, Cloward was at Utah State University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach working with current Oregon State football head coach Gary Andersen. He also has served as an intern at Utah State and as a graduate assistant at Idaho State University.
Cloward was a football student-athlete at Idaho State where he was selected to the Big Sky Conference Academic team twice and earned JC Academic All-American while attending Snow Junior College.
He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), International Society of Sports Nutrition (SNS) and the American Council on Exercise (CPT).
