Mike was a four-time letterman and concluded his career in 2013. A 141-pounder, he had 133 career wins, was a two-time Pac-12 champion, a four-time NCAA participant and a 2012 All-American. He is from Riverside, Wash., and graduated from OSU in 2013 with a degree in sociology.

At Riverside, Mike lettered four years and was a three-time state champion, a four-time Fargo National School Athlete of the Year, and the Washington Athlete of the Year. He led the United States to the Junior Pan Am Freestyle Championship by winning the gold medal at 66 kilograms. He also earned a bronze medal in Greco-Roman.
