Devin joins the staff as a volunteer coach this season after an outstanding career at the University of Missouri.
A four-year letterman for the Tigers (2012-15), Devin was the 2015 Mid-American Conference heavyweight champion as a redshirt senior. He advanced to the NCAA tournament in 2015, 2014 and 2012 and compiled a 99-39 career record.
He was 33-11 overall in 2015 and set a career-high in wins. Devin redshirted in 2011, then went 19-14 in 2012, 21-4 in 2013 and 26-10 in 2014.
He is a native of Lawson, Mo., and graduated from Lawson High School in 2010. He was a state champion as a sophomore, junior and senior after finishing second as a freshman, and was 43-0 as a senior. He was the District Wrestler of the Year in 2010, and won 10 varsity letters: Four in wrestling, three in football, two in baseball and one in track and field.
He is the son of Danny and Susan Mellon (DOB 3/30/1992) and has two older siblings, Sheena and Dustin.
