• Four-year letterman in wrestling, and three-year letterman in football at West Linn High School.
• Two-time captain of the wrestling team.
• Was twice named as an All-League wrestler.
• Two-time All-State Second Team selection.
• Third-place finish at the Oregon State High School Championships.
• Won a state title in football.
• Member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and a volunteer with Red Cross.

• Son of Tim and Sherry Bell; Has siblings Blaine and Ireland.

• His high school teammate Steven Shelofsky is also a member of the Oregon State wrestling team.
• Enjoys fishing, hiking and playing video games in his free time.
