PREP CAREER: Sarah finished seventh in the all-around and fifth on vault and floor exercise at Region 1 Championships in 2012 … qualified to Junior Olympic Nationals in 2012 … placed 14th in the all-around at the Region 1 Championships in 2011 … won the 2010 Level 9 all-around title at Region 1 Championships … finished first in the all-around and scored a 9.90 on vault at the 2011 Byers Invitational … tied for first in the all-around at the Northern California State Championships in 2011 … National TOPS A Team member 2003-05.

PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, California … daughter of Karen and Larry Marquez … has one brother, Larry, Jr. … enjoys art, music, dancing, singing and learning new languages … chose OSU “because I loved the coaches, the team, and the feel of the school” … undecided on a course of study.
