- Placed 130th at the Joe Piane Invite
- Named to the Fall Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll
- Competed in five meets and clocked 4K and 6K personal bests
- Kicked off the season with a 4K personal best of 14:14.0 to take 13th at the Viking Rust Buster (Sept. 3)Â
- Stopped the clock at 21:59.2 for a 6K personal best at the Dellinger Invitational (Sept. 23), helping the Beavers to a fifth place team finish.
- Helped Oregon State to a sixth place team finish at the Pac-12 Championship (Oct. 29), posting a time of 23:56.8
- Clocked a time of 23:30.6 to finish 79th in the B race at the Nuttycombe Invitational (Oct. 15)

- Ran in three meets for the Beavers
- Collected a top-ten finish for her collegiate debut at the Portland State Invite, clocking in at 14:22.6 for tenth
- Ran at the Bill Dellinger Invite with a time of 23:01.6
- Competed in the women's B race at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invite, placing 76th with a time of 22:46.8
- Competed in the 6A Mountain Valley Conference
- Four-time letter winner in cross country and track & field as well as cross country skiing
- Served as captain for the cross country team during the 2017-2018 season, track during the 2019 spring season and cross country skiing during the 2019 winter season
- Received rookie of the year honors during the 2015 cross country season
- Took home the Mount Bachelor Sports Education Foundation Presidential Merit award in 2016
- Also received the Carl’s Jr. State Grade Point Average award for girls cross country for four consecutive years
- Served as secretary for the national honors society in 2018-19
- A three-time band state champion (2016-18) and four time state band qualifier (2016-2019)
- Daughter of John and Julie Downing
- Comes from athletic background where mom was an athlete in cross country and track at North Dakota State
- Father competed in cross country skiing at the University of California-Davis
- Has one younger sister, Jorun
- Plans on majoring in political science with a minor in Spanish
- Standout memories include finishing in fifth at the cross country state meet and qualifying as a team for Nike NXN
