2008: Ryan had a strong spring practice and is a candidate to start at center or be a key reserve at other positions on the line. 2007: Started two games at left tackle (USC & Stanford). 2006: Redshirt.
KAMEHAMAHA: Pohl attended the Kapalama campus of the Kamehameha Schools...two-year varsity letterman and helped the team win the 2004 state title...Rivals.com rated him the 50th best offensive tackle in the country...selected the 2005 outstanding senior offensive lineman at the summer camps for Oregon State and Oregon...2005 Honorable Mention Interscholastic League of Honolulu...Honolulu Star-Bulletin 2005 second team all-state...also lettered in soccer as a goalkeeper, where he helped the team win the ’05 state title.
PERSONAL: Born in the Republic of the Philippines...son of Andrew and Sharilyn Pohl...has one brother, Brandon...chose OSU because of the “coaching staff and the college atmosphere”...majoring in radiation health physics with aspirations on becoming a radiologist.
