CAREER: Derek started two games at left guard in as a sophomore in 2012 … his extreme versatility made him the sixth man on OSU’s line in 2012, as the top back-up at all five positions … played center, right guard, left guard and left tackle for at least one snap in 2012 … a walk-on, Derek opted to transfer out of the Oregon State program following the 2012 season to pursue a scholarship.
