    Michael Doctor, a four-year letterwinner for Oregon State, was promoted to the team’s Director of Recruiting in January 2021.

    Doctor was promoted after serving as the Director of On Campus Recruiting since July 2019.

    Doctor had previously served as a recruiting assistant for the Beavers following a career for the Beavers that spanned from 2010-14. He started in 38 games for Oregon State from 2011-14, totaling 238 tackles, which ranks just shy of 10th in the program’s record books. He added 22.5 tackles for loss, also just outside the top 10.

    A native of Tulsa, Okla., Doctor ended his Oregon State career with 69 tackles in 2014, his redshirt senior season. He was a preseason watch list selection for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, which is given annually to college football’s best defensive player in performance and character. In one of his last games with the Beavers, he intercepted an Arizona State pass late in the fourth quarter, returning it for an interception in a 35-27 upset win over the No. 8 Sun Devils.
