Former University of Wisconsin standout offensive lineman Josh Oglesby was appointed an offensive quality control coach in June of 2015.
Ogelsby arrived at Oregon State after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Wisconsin under then head coach Gary Andersen from February 2013-May 2015. As a coach for the Badgers, he worked with the offensive tackles, tight ends, specialists and with the scout teams.
Oglesby was a four-year letterman offensive tackle for Wisconsin from 2007-11, starting three years and redshirting as a true freshman. He was a consensus All-Big Ten Conference selection as a senior and helped the Badgers to two division titles. During his playing career, the Badgers played in five bowl games, including making two appearances in the Rose Bowl. He also was a member of the Badgers’ coaching staff for two bowl games.
The Milwaukee, Wisc., native twice was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, signifying the nation’s top interior lineman, and was a preseason All-American. He also participated in the NFL Combine and was a free agent signee of the Washington Redskins, but was forced to retire due to injury.
Oglesby is a 2011 graduate of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Wisconsin in educational leadership and policy analysis.
