Bobby Pleasant is in his sixth year with the Oregon State football program as the team’s On Campus Ambassador. Pleasant duties include football team security, law enforcement liaison, mentoring student-athletes, and assisting with day-to-day operations.
He came to OSU after a nearly three-year stint as an investigator for Prestigious Investigative Services. Pleasant also has held positions as sergeant and background investigator for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. He twice has been selected the Officer of the Year at law enforcement stations in California. He had a 30-year career in law enforcement.
Pleasant is a member numerous committees and was a Pop Warner football coach for 12 years in California. He is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association, the College Football Hall Fame, and the snap, hold, and kick organization.
Pleasant holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from San Jose State University and an associate of arts degree in business supervision from Chaffey Community College.
