Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Oregon State Athletics have teamed up to create the Beaver Believers program. Below is the 2020-21 Beaver Believers roster. Beaver Nation stands behind you and cheers you on every step of the way. Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center plays a major role in helping patients fight the battle against cancer. Through our affiliation with the US Oncology Network, one of the largest cancer treatment and research networks in the country, we offer the latest advances in therapies, research and technology close to home. Marilyn Starker
- Beaver supporter and alum since ‘72
- Season ticket holder in football, basketball, and baseball
- Loves the College of Forestry, along with reading, writing, and playing the piano
- Enjoys her grandchildren and adult children and the beauty that the state of Oregon has to offer
- Being treated for Metastatic Cancer and a patient of WVCI for two years
Sharon Mitchell
- Lifelong Albany, Oregon Resident
- Owner of two (2) Local Restaurants in the Willamette Valley
- Has twelve (12) Grandchildren & Eleven (11) great grandchildren
- Diagnosed with Ovarian & Breast Cancer
Jerad Kruger
- Beaver fan since 1992 and a huge fan of Beaver Football and Baseball
- Grew up in Corvallis
- Loves working on classic cars and drag racing
- Diagnosed with Large Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
James Trevillian
- Born and raised a Beaver fan and has always been a faithful Beaver Believer
- Grew up in Beaver Creek Newport
- Loves wakeboarding, hunting, camping with family and doing the chainsaw to cheer my Beavers on!
- Diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma
