Q: What are the travel dates for this year's donor trip?
A: We will depart on Thursday, August 30 and return Sunday, September 2.Â
Q: Why has OBN partnered with Sports & Entertainment Travel (SET) this year?
A: Sports & Entertainment Travel (SET) is the industry’s leading full-service travel and tour management company dedicated to offering the best in fan travel experiences. SET will provide an enhanced experience during our stay in Columbus by providing a concierge service for our donors, while allowing the OBN staff to spend more time with you - our guests! Â

Q: Does hiring an outside company to assist with the trip increase expenses?
A: No, SET is able to secure rates through partnerships that are available to them through frequency of use.

Q: What does my $1,200 per person, all-inclusive accommodations rate cover?
A:  The accommodations rate covers everything listed below, including your three (3) night hotel accommodations:
- Round-trip, direct Southwest Airlines charter from Eugene to Columbus including a meal, snacks, open bar and Wi-Fi
- Three (3) night deluxe hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Columbus in the heart of downtown Columbus
- Ground transportation to and from the airport, hotel and game including baggage handling, plus a police escort to and from the hotel to the airport
- Exclusive welcome reception with VP/Director of Athletics, Scott Barnes and fellow Beavers
- Multiple group tour options on Friday
- Oregon State Alumni Association Tailgater prior to game
- Game ticket

A: Multiple fees were required during the 2015 Donor Trip to Michigan. These included a travel fee, the alumni tailgater, and hotel accommodations. This year’s accommodations rate is all-inclusive. Â

Q: When comparing this year’s Ohio State Donor Trip to the 2015 Donor Trip to Michigan, what is the difference in financial impact to Oregon State Athletics?
A: The all-inclusive trip structure allows the department to realize a $156,000 cost savings compared to the Michigan trip. That difference will allow us to fund six (6) full student-athlete scholarships and reach our goal to fully fund the student-athlete scholarship bill.Â

Q: Where is the Football Donor Trip hotel in relations to Ohio State’s campus?
A: The Hyatt Regency Columbus is located in the heart of downtown Columbus, on the edge of the Arena District and no more than a 10-minute drive from the center of Ohio State’s campus.

Q: Will I be able to purchase additional game and/or tailgater tickets?
A: Yes. Additional game and OSUAA Tailgater tickets will be available for purchase during the registration process.
Q: What other activities will be available to me in Columbus?
A: We are currently working with SET on securing options, which may include:
- Tour of Ohio State facilities
- Columbus Zoo
- Easton Neighborhood (shopping, etc.)
- Columbus City Adventures (Central City, Architecture Tours, German Village Walking Tour)
- Columbus Clippers (NY Yankees AAA) vs. Toledo Mud Hens (Detroit Tigers AAA)
