2016 Summer Summit - Oregon State University Athletics

The 2016 Inaugural Summer Summit focused on the current medical recommendations and emerging practices surrounding concussions. Several notable speakers were present to present on topics relevant to their area of expertise, including the following:

Dr. James Chesnutt, MD and Jeffrey Schlimgen, PT, NCS (OHSU) - Concussion-related Balance Research and Clinical Care
Dr. Jamie Schlueter, MD (Providence Portland Medical Center) - The Role of Rest and Exercise in Concussion Recovery
Dr. Leah Concannon, MD (University of Washington Medical Network) - Counseling Patients about CTE
