Andersen Adds Two to Football Program for 2015

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Ryan Navarro and Sosaia Tauaho have signed a financial aid agreements to attend and play football at Oregon State University, head coach Gary Andersen announced Wednesday.
Navarro, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound long snapper, and Tauaho, a 6-4, 330-pound offensive lineman are slated to arrive in Corvallis this summer.
Navarro, a native of Murrieta, Calif., played high school football at Vista Murrieta High School. He spent the last two seasons at Riverside City College where he played an integral role on the Tigers’ special teams units. As the long snapper, Navarro recorded four tackles in 2014 and two others in 2013 when he also forced a fumble. Navarro has three years to play two seasons.

Tauaho, who hails from Oakland, Calif., transfers to Oregon State with two years of eligibility remaining to play two seasons. The Freemont High School graduate spent the last three seasons at Laney College where he earned all-conference honors in 2014.
