Clark Selected By Toronto In 26th Round

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State infielder Gabe Clark has been selected in the 26th round, 782nd overall by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday.
He is the fourth OSU player selected in this year’s draft, following Andrew Moore in the second round Monday, Jeff Hendrix in the fourth round Tuesday and Travis Eckert in the 20th round Wednesday.
Clark has played three seasons for the Beavers, from 2013-15, and has appeared in 102 games. He is batting .252 with 14 doubles, three triples, nine home runs and 64 runs batted in during his career.
He is the eighth Oregon State player to be selected by Toronto in the draft. Matt Boyd was the last OSU player taken by the Blue Jays, prior to Clark, and was a sixth-rounder in 2013.
The selection is the first of Clark’s career.
