Yoo Completes Second Round At NCAA's
BRADENTON, Fla. – Anica Yoo shot an 8-over 80 in the second round of the NCAA Division I Women‘s National Golf Championships, which was completed Sunday morning following suspension of play due to weather on Saturday.
Yoo is tied for 45th place with a 10-over 74-80--154 at the par-72, 6,468-yard Concession Golf Club. She had one birdie in the second round after opening the tournament with three birdies on Friday.
The NCAA National Championships consists of three days of stroke play Friday through Sunday, after which the top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team will be determined. That is followed by a final day of 18 holes of stroke play on Monday to determine the top eight teams that will advance to match play as well as the 72-hole individual champion.
The field for the NCAA National Championships includes 24 teams and 12 individuals that qualified at four regional competitions.
