Tim Cook Signs to Join Football Program

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Tim Cook has signed a financial aid agreement to attend and play football at Oregon State University, head coach Gary Andersen announced Wednesday.
Cook, a 6-foot-1, 235-pound running back, from White Hall, Ark. will arrive in Corvallis this summer with two years to play two seasons.
Cook spent the last three seasons at Eastern Arizona Community College where he earned second team All-WSFL (Western States Football League) and second team All-ACCAC (Arizona Community College Athletic Conference) honors in 2014. As a running back he rushed for 639 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore. Cook also saw limited action at linebacker.

The junior joins a stable of running backs at Oregon State that includes three-year starter Storm Woods, as well as junior Chris Brown and sophomore Damien Haskins, who earned his first college action last fall. In addition, Jaylynn Bailey and Marcus Greaves, both of whom redshirted in 2014, and incoming true freshmen Deltron Sands and Taylor Thomas will join the fray in August.
Season tickets are available for the coming season for as little as $150. The season kicks off Friday, Sept. 4 at Reser Stadium vs. Weber State in a nationally televised game. To get in on the action go to beavertickets.com or call 800-Go-BEAVS during business hours.
