Last Game
Travis Eckert allowed two runs over 8 2/3 innings and the OSU bullpen combined for 6 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in a 2-2 tie against Utah in 15 innings on Sunday. Caleb Hamilton went 4-for-6 to set a single-game career-high. The Beavers jumped out to a 2-0 lead after five but a Utah home run in the eighth tied the game. Neither team managed to score from then on and the game was called a tie due to Utah’s travel schedule.
Tickets Honored

ERA Lowered
Oregon State posted a 0.55 earned run average in the series win over the Utes to lower the team’s mark to 3.00 overall. That figure is now third in the Pac-12 Conference and 17th nationally. The Beavers are looking for their third consecutive sub-3.00 ERA.
Hendrix Keeps Going
Jeff Hendrix singled in Sunday’s tie game to extend his hit streak to a season-long 14 games. The junior is 20-for-45 (.444) with eight runs, 10 RBI, 12 walks, five doubles and two triples during the streak. That amounts to a .561 on-base percentage and .644 slugging percentage.
In Keizer
Oregon State is slated to play its fourth game at Keizer’s Volcanoes Stadium, and is 3-0 when doing so. OSU beat Oregon 14-4 in 2009 in front of 5,177 fans. The Beavers returned in 2013 to nip Portland, 4-3, in front of 3,294. The teams squared off again last season, with OSU winning 8-4 before 4,226 fans.
Singles
• Sunday’s tie game was the Beavers’ first since 1998, and the 16th in school history. It was the second ever in a league game, the first coming in 1921 - a scoreless final against Washington.
• OSU’s pitching staff has allowed five runs in its last five games, a stretch of 51 innings. Only two of those runs were earned for an ERA of 0.35.
• Opponents have batted just .156 over those five games. They have 27 hits with just four going for extra bases.
• The Beavers are ranked in all six polls for the first time this season.
