Golf Teams To Host Senior Banquet
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men’s and women’s golf teams will host an inaugural Senior Banquet on Monday, May 4 at Corvallis Country Club.
The banquet is open to the public and will celebrate the 2014-15 season, as well as the student-athletes, alumni, friends of the programs and, of course, the seniors. There will be drinks and appetizers at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. The cost to attend is $35 per person.
Alex Franklin and Scott Kim are seniors on the Oregon State men’s golf team, and Lauren Fischer and Anica Yoo are seniors on the women’s team.
“We are looking forward to partnering with the women's team on this inaugural event,” Oregon State men’s head coach Jon Reehoorn said. “It is important that we recognize the contributions of Scott and Alex to our golf program and this will be a great way to do it.”
"Both Jon and I are very excited to collaborate and honor our seniors and celebrate the 2014-15 season,” Oregon State women’s head coach Sammie Chergo said. “We are looking forward to sharing our programs with alumni, community members and all of Beaver Nation at this event.”
