Beavers Head to Stanford Invitational

The Oregon State women’s track & field team will compete at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto this weekend.
Competition begins at 9 a.m. Friday and resumes at 9 a.m. Saturday at Cobb Track & Angell Field on the Stanford campus. The meet features 3,200 athletes in open, collegiate and high school competition; 109 four-year colleges and many community colleges will compete.
Many of the Beavers who skipped the March 28 Willamette Invitational will return to action at Stanford. Conversely, many who competed in Salem will skip this week’s meet to rest and recover. The Beavers will take 15 athletes overall.
