Anybody who follows Oregon State wide receivers coach Brent Brennan’s Twitter account (@coachbrennan) knows that “Rise and Grind” is one of the popular coach’s morning tweets.
There is no shortage of energy when it comes to coach Brent Brennan, the lone holdover from the previous coaching staff to team up with first-year Beavers mentor Gary Andersen. His mix of veteran and young wide receivers feed off the energetic coach on a daily basis on or off the football field.
Coach Brennan is working with a talented group this spring led by senior Richard Mullaney, junior Victor Bolden and sophomore Jordan Villamin. The receiver corps also possesses a wealth of young talent making it one of the strongest units in the Pac-12 Conference and especially appealing to a trio of freshmen quarterbacks that will lead the team in 2015.
The OSU video team mic’d up Coach Brennan at a recent morning practice to give Beaver Nation a taste of what it’s like to be in Coach Brennan’s Nike shoes.
Beaver Nation is reminded that Saturday, April 18 is the official debut for the 2015 Beavers at the annual Spring Game at Reser Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. For more details of the full day of events please follow this link.
The response has been strong to the Coach Andersen hire as season ticket sales are pacing at a feverish rate for this time of the year as the excitement continues to build for the new era of Beaver football. The season kicks off Friday, Sept. 4 at Reser Stadium vs. Weber State in a nationally televised game. To get in on the action go to beavertickets.com or call 800-Go-BEAVS during business hours.
