14 Beavers Earn MPSF Academic Honors

Fourteen members of the Oregon State track & field team earned 2015 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation all-academic honors for indoor track, MPSF executive director Al Beaird announced Friday.
To be eligible for consideration, a student/athlete must have a 3.00 or better cumulative GPA must be at least a sophomore academically; must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received, and must have competed in 50 percent or more of the institution’s competition in their respective sport.
OSU’s honorees, and their GPAs, were seniors Allie Church (3.95) and Kelsi Schaer (3.93); juniors Morgan Anderson (3.68), Melissa Ausman (3.06), Adrienne Demaree (3.64), Lucinda Howard (3.56), Kira Kelly (3.94), Jessica Lautenbach (3.64), Rachel Picknell (3.10) and Michele Turney (3.79), and sophomores Holly Cavalluzzo (3.45), Helen Ann Haun (3.28), Ally Jackson (3.95) and Kristiane Width (3.61).
