Andersen Adds Fuimaono to Recruiting Class

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State head football coach Gary Andersen announced Monday that Leo Fuimaono (Foo-EE-mah-ono) has signed a national letter of intent and will join the program in June.
Fuimaono is a 6-3, 305-pound offensive lineman prospect from Los Angeles Harbor Community College who had multiple offers before signing his paperwork to attend OSU late Sunday evening. He has two years of playing eligibility remaining with an available redshirt year.
The Torrance, Calif., native played on the offensive and defensive lines for the Seahawks for two seasons, and earned second team all-conference as a freshman. He also was the team’s longsnapper. Rivals and 247Sports list him as a three-star recruit.
Fuimaono attended Torrance High School where he made 110 tackles over his final two varsity seasons, including 10 sacks.
The Beavers return to the practice field Tuesday for the fourth spring practice of the year. Fans are reminded that this Saturday’s practice is open to the public, starting at 11:30 a.m., with the team holding its first of three scrimmages.
