Beavers Announce Spring Schedule

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men’s soccer team will play seven games a part of its spring slate, head coach Steve Simmons announced today. The spring schedule will feature three games at Reser Stadium, beginning with a matchup against the Vancouver Victory on April 11 and wrapping up with Lane United and an alumni game on April 25.
The Beavers will open the 2015 spring season on March 8, when they head to Providence Park to take on the Portland Timbers in a match that will be closed to the public. Oregon State will then head even further north on March 22, when it goes to British Columbia for a game against Vancouver Whitecaps.
After returning home to face the Vancouver Victory on April 11, the Beavers will head Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton to take on Gonzaga and Portland/Washington on April 18. The spring will wrap up April 25 with a match against Lane United as well as an alumni game. Those interested in attending the alumni event, please RSVP to Assistant Coach Ben Stoddard at ben.stoddard@oregonstate.edu

Overall Oregon State ended the season 12-8-1, and posted numerous end-of-year awards, including Pac-12 Player of the Year Khiry Shelton and Freshman of the Year Timmy Mueller.
