Coach Andersen Recaps Practice

The two-week hiatus was over as the Oregon State football team returned to the practice field Tuesday for the second set of dates leading up to the Spring Game at Reser Stadium April 18 (details here).
Head coach Gary Andersen was impressed on the level of preparedness of the team after the numerous days off.
The OSU video team and local media caught up with Coach Andersen following Tuesday’s workouts dodging what has been a rare spring rainstorm.
The Beavers return to the practice field Thursday morning before holding the second scrimmage of the period Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Reser Stadium. The scrimmage will be open to the public weather permitting.
The response has been strong to the Coach Andersen hire as season ticket sales are pacing at a record rate for this time of the year as the excitement continues to build for the new era of Beaver football. The season officially kicks off Friday, Sept. 4 at Reser Stadium vs. Weber State in a nationally televised game.
