New Look Spring Game Culminates Practice

Players Make Plays; Players Win Games.
That’s the mantra for first-year head football coach Gary Andersen and April 18 is your opportunity to find out who is making plays to help the Beavers win games this season. It’s a new attitude under Andersen and with his leadership a hard-hitting format debuts for the Spring Game at Reser Stadium at 1 p.m.
“The Spring Game is a great opportunity for our players to compete in front of Beaver Nation,” Andersen said. “We will separate the players and coaches into two teams and play four quarters in a modified format. We are excited for the day and we will have ways for students and fans to participate throughout the event.”
There’s an abundance of story lines this spring. Who will be the starting quarterback? Who is on track to replace the departed defensive starters? How is the offense evolving? Those are questions, and many more, that have Beaver fans and foes keeping a watchful eye on Corvallis.
To assist with annual support for OSU Marching Band and Cheer programs, OSU will have an affordable ticket price for the Spring Game with tickets only $6 or $5 for four or more. All seating will be general admission on the east-side of Reser Stadium, including the Club level. Loge and Suite holders will have exclusive access to those levels. Tickets can easily be accessed through beavertickets.com, 800-GO-BEAVS or at the game at the Reser Stadium ticket office located at Gate H and the Gill Coliseum front ticket office. OSU students are free with valid school-issued identification.
It’s loaded day of fun activities. Here’s what you need to know:
