Harrison Places 40th in 200 Freestyle

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Sammy Harrison continued action at the NCAA Championships Friday, swimming in the 200 Freestyle. It was the first time that Harrison swam in the 200 in her third trip to the NCAA Championships, stopping the clock at 1:46.87. Harrison placed 40th in the event, winning her preliminary heat.
Harrison will complete her weekend Saturday evening when she swims in the 1650 Freestyle. She will swim in the fourth heat in lane five at approximately 5:40 p.m. Eastern Time. Harrison enters with a seed time of 15:54.61. She recorded a finish of 16:01.59 at the 2014 NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, finishing 10th and earning All-American Status.
