Harrison Finishes 26th in 500 at First Day of NCAA

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Finishing nearly 20 places higher in the event than she did in 2014, Sammy Harrison finished 26th in the 500 Freestyle Thursday at the NCAA Championships. Harrison stopped the clock with a time of 4:42.83.
Harrison will continue action Friday, competing in the 200 Freestyle for the first time at the NCAA nationals. She earned her spot in the event with a seed time of 1:46.70. Harrison finished 41st in 2014 with a time of 4:45.37.

Harrison will also compete in the 1,650 Freestyle, during the afternoon session on Saturday, March 21. She finished 10th in the event at the 2014 NCAA Championships.
