Pac-12 Announces Tournament Bracket

CORVALLIS - The Pac-12 has released the bracket for the women’s basketball tournament, the conference office announced today. The Beavers will play their first game of the tournament Friday at 6 p.m. against the winner of Thursday’s matchup between Colorado and USC.
Should the Beavers advance, they would play their semifinal game on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. The final will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The first three rounds of the conference tournament will be carried live on Pac-12 Networks, with Sunday’s championship game airing on ESPN. The Pac-12 Networks will also have a live promotion available for Saturday’s semifinals, with live streaming available online for free.
Oregon State has locked down the top seed in the conference tournament, as well as the Pac-12 regular-season title. Saturday’s win over No. 24 California extended the school record to 26 wins this season, and was OSU’s fourth win over a ranked opponent. The Pac-12 title is the first in school history, and the second conference championship in Oregon State history, joining the 1982-83 NorPac title winning squad.
As a team, Oregon State leads the Pac-12 conference with four Player of the Week awards, as well as one ESPNW National Player of the Week honor, which was given to junior Jamie Weisner in January. The Beavers were ranked No. 7 in both polls last week and lead the conference in attendance with over 4,000 fans per game.
Oregon State was also selected by the NCAA Selection Committee as one of 20 possible hosts for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament in February. Following the Pac-12 Tournament, the Beavers will await the NCAA Selection Show, which will be held on March 16 in preparation for the start of the NCAA Tournament on March 20.
