Twix or Skittles? A Sweet Scrimmage

Two weeks in the books, three weeks to go. Oregon State’s final spring practice of the first session featured a full-fledged 102-play scrimmage in the Truax Indoor Center.
The excitement was contagious and the coaching staff was energized.
True freshman quarterback Seth Collins led the offense on four scoring drives, with teammates Nick Mitchell and Luke Del Rio each accounting for one scoring drive each.
Following practice Coach Andersen's wife Stacey was ready for what is a tradition for her -- having candy bars for the team (see video).
The Beavers will take the next two weeks off for final exams and Spring Break before returning to the field March 31.
The OSU video team had a chance to get close to the action and produced the uploaded video with an interview with head coach Gary Andersen.
The response has been strong to the Coach Andersen hire as season ticket sales are pacing at a record rate for this time of the year as the excitement continues to build for the new era of Beaver football. The season officially kicks off Friday, Sept. 4 at Reser Stadium vs. Weber State in a nationally televised game.
