Baseball To Host Corvallis Regional

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State baseball team will host the Corvallis Regional next weekend, the NCAA announced on Sunday when it released the 16 host sites for the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Beavers are hosting an NCAA Regional for the fifth time in school history, and have gone a combined 12-0 in 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2013. Oregon State advanced to the 2014 postseason by winning the Pac-12 Conference with a 23-7 league record.
Oregon State will find out if it has been deemed a national seed on Monday at 9 a.m. on ESPNU. The selection show will also release the entire field of 64.
Other host schools in 2014 include: Ole Miss, Cal Poly, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Rice, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisville, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, TCU and Florida.
All-session tickets will be made available to the general public beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday (online only until 9 a.m.). Infield reserved tickets are $100 while outfield general admission seats are $75 and student outfield seats cost $56. All-session tickets guarantee the holder to all six games of the regional, and a seventh if necessary game.
Single-game tickets will be made available on each day – pending availability - and cost $20 for infield reserved seats, $15 for outfield general admission and $12 for student outfield seats. The ticket office at Goss Stadium will open at 10 a.m. on the first day of the regional and two hours prior to the first game’s first pitch each subsequent day.
Current season-ticket holders have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to request tickets prior to them going on sale to the general public. Our Beaver Nation members without season tickets may also request tickets until that time.
Fans can purchase tickets by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS, going online at BeaverTickets.com or in person at Gill Coliseum, which is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fans who attend the regional should note that the parking lot beyond the left field fence will be closed to the public each day, and other parking lots near Goss Stadium will require a fee. A parking map will be made available on the Corvallis Regional Tournament page.
Dates and times for each game of the regional will be announced later this week. Make sure and visit osubeavers.com for updates.
