Defensive coordinator Mark Banker has seen a lot of football in his career with a great amount of success. Players on the defensive side of the ball have earned 69 Pac-12/10 Conference honors during his tenure for the Beavers.
His 2014 defense will be among his most experienced he has had in recent seasons. A combined 168 starts return from last year’s Hawai’i Bowl championship team, including what is arguably the best linebacker corps in the Pac-12.

The Spring Football Showcase is scheduled for May 3 at Reser Stadium. The day begins at 10 a.m. with the 50-Yard-Line Sale at the Truax Center that features actual game and practice jerseys, shoes and other OSU Athletics apparel. The popular autograph session starts at 10:45 a.m. with the team taking the field at 1 p.m. The game portion of the day will air live on the Pac-12 Networks. Gates open at Noon with fans asked to donate canned food items for the Linn-Benton Food Share.
