Inside Practice

When it comes to offensive linemen, rarely do they grab the headlines. When a Beaver is mentioned it is usually junior center Isaac Seumalo, and for good reason as he has earned Freshman All-American and Pac-12 All-Conference honors in his young career. Seumalo is out for spring practice as he heals from a broken foot suffered in the Sheraton Hawai’i Bowl; which puts the focus on sophomore tackle Sean Harlow.
Harlow had a banner true freshman season a year ago and is ready to burst onto the scene this fall as one of the top players at his position in the league. Harlow expects to add to OSU’s impressive 27 all-conference honors linemen have earned in the second tenure of head coach Mike Riley.
The OSU Video team strapped a GoPro on Harlow in a recent practice and mic’d up line coach Mike Cavanaugh. Get ready for an intense workout, Beaver linemen style.
The Spring Football Showcase (details here) is scheduled for May 3 at Reser Stadium. The day begins at 10 a.m. with the 50-Yard-Line Sale at the Truax Center that features actual game and practice jerseys, shoes and other OSU Athletics apparel. The popular autograph session starts at 10:45 a.m. with the team taking the field at 1 p.m. Admission is free; fans are asked to donate a canned food item at the gate for the Linn-Benton Food Share. The game portion of the day will air live on the Pac-12 Networks.
