You hear a lot about “details” and head coach Mike Riley talking about how he wanted to be “challenged” at practice these days. All of that centers on first-year offensive coordinator John Garrett.
Garrett is just a few practices into his OSU career after replacing now New York Giants’ quarterback coach Danny Langsdorf. The longtime NFL assistant has brought a fresh set of eyes to the Beaver offense that is one of the most complicated college systems in the game.
Today we give you a glimpse of what it’s like to be the Beavers’ offensive coordinator.
The Spring Football Showcase is scheduled for May 3 at Reser Stadium. The day begins at 10 a.m. with the 50-Yard-Line Sale at the Truax Center that features actual game and practice jerseys, shoes and other OSU Athletics apparel. The popular autograph session starts at 10:45 a.m. with the team taking the field at 1 p.m. The game portion of the day will air live on the Pac-12 Networks.
