The Pads Start Popping March 31

Spring is in the air and that means it’s time for Oregon State football as the 15-day spring practice session begins March 31 at 10 a.m. at either the Tommy Prothro Football Complex or the Merritt Truax Indoor Center.
Fifty-three lettermen return off of last year’s team, including record setting quarterback Sean Mannion. Eighteen starters are back making the Beavers one of the more experienced teams in the Pac-12 Conference.
This spring session also features new offensive coordinator John Garrett. He will have the chore of solidifying the backup quarterback position as well as replacing one of the best receivers to ever play in the Conference, Brandin Cooks.
Earlier this month the Voice of the Beavers Mike Parker sat down with head coach Mike Riley in a three-part video series previewing spring practice and the 2014 season. The following links will take you to those videos. Part 1 (John Garrett); Part 2 (the offense); Part 3 (the defense).
The Spring Football Showcase will be May 3 at Reser Stadium. The day begins at 10 a.m. with the 50-Yard-Line Sale at the Truax Center that features actual game and practice jerseys, shoes and other OSU Athletics apparel. The popular autograph session starts at 10:45 a.m. with the team taking the field at 1 p.m. The game portion of the day will air live on the Pac-12 Networks. More details on all the events will be announced in the near future.
Deposits are being accepted for 2014 OSU season tickets for home games that include Portland State, San Diego State, Washington State, Arizona State, California, Utah and Oregon.
