It’s almost time for softball season, and to get ready for Oregon State’s 2014 campaign, the Beavers have answered 20 questions about themselves. Up third is Amee Aarhus. Oregon State will open the year at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz. on Feb. 6.
1. What is your favorite dessert?
Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream
2. What is your favorite sport (other than softball)?
Football
3. What is your favorite place to hang out in Corvallis?
My dorm or anywhere with food
4. Who is your favorite professional athlete?
Caitlin Lowe
5. What are your goals after you graduate from Oregon State?
To go to medical school or nursing school
6. Who did you most admire as a child?
My dad
7. What is your pregame ritual?
I tie my shoes the same way before every game

9. What is your dream car?
Black Range Rover
10. What was the best moment you’ve had as an Oregon State softball player so far?
Going on our camping retreat and bonding with the team

Sour punch straws (strawberry)
12. What is your ideal vacation destination?
Somewhere sunny, with a beach and a book
13. If you were stranded on a desert island and you could only bring three items, what would you bring and why?
I would bring my Bible, a boat and a lifetime supply of food.

The Prisoners
15. What is your individual goal for the upcoming softball season?
To progress in skill and knowledge of the game

Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks

Hard-working, cheerful

Breakfast: eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc.
