Volleyball Announces 2013 Schedule; 13 Matches Televised

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team announced its 2013 schedule on Monday, and 13 matches have been scheduled for broadcast by the Pac-12 Networks.
All 13 matches have been slated for conference play. Seven of the Beavers’ 10 conference home matches are slated for TV: Oregon (Sept. 24 or 25), Washington State (Sept. 27), UCLA (Oct. 13), Utah (Oct. 18), Colorado (Oct. 20), Arizona (Oct. 30) and Arizona State (Nov. 2).
The rest of the Oregon State home slate includes USC (Oct. 10 or 11), California (Nov. 15) and Stanford (Nov. 16).
Oregon State’s road TV slate includes Arizona State (Oct. 4), Arizona (Oct. 6), California (Oct. 27), USC (Nov. 10), Colorado (Nov. 21) and Oregon (Nov. 29). Stanford (Oct. 25), UCLA (Nov. 8), Utah (Nov. 24) and Washington (Nov. 27) round out of the road conference schedule.
The Beavers open the 2013 season in Rochester, Mich., and take on Villanova on Aug. 30. OSU also plays Central Michigan and Oakland the following day.
Oregon State stays in Michigan the next weekend, making the trek to Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor and East Lansing. The Beavers face Eastern Michigan Sept. 4, Michigan on Sept. 6 and Michigan State on Sept. 7.
The Beavers play their first matches in the state of Oregon Sept. 13 and 14 in Portland in a tournament hosted by the Pilots. OSU takes on Toledo Sept. 13 before playing UC Davis and Portland the following day.
OSU’s last non-conference matches of the regular season will be held in Long Beach, Calif., on Sept. 20. The Beavers face Prairie View A&M and Long Beach State.
