Beavers Arrive In Omaha
June 13, 2013
OMAHA, Neb. - Oregon State arrived in Omaha Thursday afternoon after chartering a plane from Eugene's Mahlon Sweet Field.
The Beavers landed at approximately 2:15 p.m. Omaha time, and proceeded to the team hotel, the Embassy Suites, before a 5 p.m. workout at a local high school. From there on, it was time for meetings and dinner.
Fun fact about the team's charter: it was the same one that ferried the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks to the Stanley Cup Final in Chicago.
