Running concurrently with the Girls Hoop Camp is the Pee Wee Camp, which takes place on June 18, 19 and 20. Open to girls entering kindergarten, first or second grades, the instructional camp is designed to promote interest and skill development in the game of basketball. The goal is to introduce basic fundamentals and provide each child with a fun and positive basketball experience. Activities will include dribbling, passing, shooting, relays and shooting competitions.
The camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each morning, will be held in Dixon Recreation Center and costs $60 before June 8 or $70 after that date. Families which register more than one child will receive $15 off each and Oregon State faculty and staff will receive a $15 discount.
