Last Game
Matt Boyd. Andy Peterson also had three hits for the Beavers, whose first six runs of the game were unearned. OSU scored four in the third to take the lead.
Davis' Big Weekend
Dylan Davis has had a big weekend, to say the least. The sophomore is 5-for-10 over the two games, and has two doubles and eight runs driven in. He's climbing up the ranks in the Pac-12 with 42 RBI on the year, which ranks in the top five.
Milestones
Oregon State reached two milestones with Saturday's win and will look to break them on Sunday. First, the Beavers won their 40th game, joining the 2005 Beavers as the only Oregon State teams to win 40 or more during the regular season. The 2005 team won 41. Second, the Beavers matched that same club for most league wins - 19 - since the then-Pac-10 unified in 1999. OSU can tie the 1993 club for most regardless of league - 20 - with a win on Sunday.
Going For A Sweep
Oregon State is looking for a sweep of Stanford on Sunday. It would be the Beavers' second in as many appearances at Sunken Diamond after the Beavers took all three games in 2011. Oregon State is 11-3 against the Cardinal in California, dating back to 2005, and the Beavers have won the last five series there.
Wetzler Sunday
Sunday's probable starter, Ben Wetzler, is 2-1 with a 0.76 earned run average away from home this season. He has allowed just two earned runs in 23 2/3 innings on the road this season. In his last five starts, regardless of location, he has given up four earned runs in 36 2/3 innings, amounting to an ERA of 0.98.
Singles
The Beavers have matched the 2005 Beavers for the most wins through 48 games.
Sunday's game marks the Beavers' last regular season game outside the state of Oregon. OSU plays three in Eugene and four in Corvallis to close out the regular season.
Oregon State is 23-3 when getting a quality start this season, which includes 17 consecutive during Pac-12 play. The Beavers are 9-3 when getting a quality start on the road.
