Pac-12 Championships - Final Results
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Oregon State men's golf team concluded the three-day, 72-hole Pac-12 Championship in a tie for eighth place on Wednesday and will now wait to see where it goes for the NCAA Division I Regional Championships.
Oregon State has become a regular at the NCAA Men's Golf Regional Championships with six consecutive appearances, including trips in 14 of the past 20 years, and is a lock to make it for a seventh consecutive time.
The official selection of the teams that qualify for the NCAA Regionals will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 6 via a webcast selection show on www.ncaa.com. There will be six regionals held May 16-18 with 13 teams at three of the regions and 14 teams at the other three. The low five teams from each region will advance to the NCAA Championship in Atlanta, Ga., from May 28 to June 2.
The Beavers started Wednesday's final round on No. 10 and got off to a shaky start before rallying over the final nine holes to finish in a tie for eighth place with an 86-over 368-362-380-376--1,486 at the challenging par-70, 7,236-yard Los Angeles Country Club.
