LINFIELD COLLEGE, McMinnville, OR—Kevin attended Linfield College during the 2000 football season and earned a letter as a safety.
OSU—(2001—Sophomore)—Kevin transferred to OSU from Linfield College with the start of the 2001 football season...he reported as a walk-on to fall camp on August 7 as a strong safety, starting out No. 3 on the depth chart...he will spend the 2001 season as a redshirt.
ROSEBURG HIGH SCHOOL, Roseburg, OR—Kevin was a two-year starter and three-year letterman in both football and baseball at Roseburg...also earned three letters in basketball as a point guard...played football for Coach Thurman Bell, a former OSU player...Kevin was a two-time first-team pick at quarterback and defensive back in the Southern Oregon Conference...he was selected as an all-state quarterback by The Oregonian as a junior and an all-state defensive back by The Oregonian as a senior...he also was a two-time all-league pick in baseball...also earned all-state honors as a senior in baseball as a third baseman...he was the two-time Southern Oregon Conference Player of the Year on offense.
