Internship Opportunities
Oregon State University offers a unique opportunity for students to work within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Beaver Athletics Internship program will provide students with an invaluable experience that will benefit the pursuit of a career in almost any field. The internships are awarded on an annual basis. The Intercollegiate Athletics Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for the 2021-22Â school year. If you are an OSU student with initiative, dedication, a strong work ethic, and a sincere interest in Oregon State Athletics, then you are encouraged to submit an application.
Internships are available within the following departments:
- Marketing/Promotions
- Ticket Office
- Video Operations / Audio Visual Tech
The Oregon State University Athletic Department regards the Beaver Internship program as a vital component in the success of the overall department. The efforts and contributions of the interns are heavily depended upon. It is essential that each intern recognize the importance of a strong commitment to Oregon State Athletics and the internship program. In return for such dedication, the Oregon State University Department of Athletics promises you one of the best hands-on internship experiences available.
Each department requires a minimum commitment of office hours on top of working the various sporting events. A small book stipend is provided to first year interns and each year following is handled on a case by case basis.
Please note that the football season typically begins in August several weeks before school begins. You are still required to attend all football games/events that take place prior to the beginning of school.
Previous members of the OSU Athletic Department Interns are now employed at many different major companies and universities, including: University of California, Pacific University, Georgia Tech, University of Pittsburgh, Chicago Bulls, University of Illinois, Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Padres, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Nike, Adidas, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Jose State University, and many other sports related agencies.
