Beth Ray Center for Academic Support

The $14 million three-story Beth Ray Center for Academic Support opened in mid-September of 2012. The 30,000-square foot facility houses distinctive programs that help all students achieve their full potential—student-athletes as well as the general student population. As OSU President Ed Ray said at the building’s groundbreaking, “When it comes to student success, nobody is privileged and nobody is excluded. If you enroll here, our expectation is that you will succeed.”
The facility is located conveniently adjacent to Gill Coliseum and Reser Stadium. The Center includes academic support and counseling services, learning laboratories, proactive services to help students transition from high school to college-level learning, and new and existing campus programs. The building also features space for classrooms, a computer lab, study lounge, and commons area as well as counseling offices, meeting rooms and tutorial spaces. In addition, OSU’s existing September Scholars program and BEST Program will be housed in the new center.
