Everyday Champion - Max Gordon

Outfielder Max Gordon, a junior with the baseball team at OSU, has become a key cog in the Beavers’ offensive scheme. He’s a strong outfielder and player who regularly gets the bat on the ball. But that’s Gordon on the field. Off it, he’s a caring individual who has a penchant for helping others.
Gordon was one of two OSU baseball players who went to Guatemala in December 2011 as part of the Beavers Without Borders trip. An Ashland, Ore., native, he called the trip one of the best experiences of his life and suggested that any student-athlete who has a chance to go on a similar trip should do so without any hesitation.
